Sophia Gilmson offers a rare and compelling all-Rameau recital. Each piece is performed first in its original form on the harpsichord, followed by Leopold Godowsky’s piano transcriptions of the same work. The program runs just about an hour with no intermission and includes brief spoken introductions to each selection, offering insight into Rameau’s music and its transformation across instruments.
