Every fall and spring semester, Southwestern students have the opportunity to apply to spend a semester studying away in Washington, D.C. through the Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP) and in New York City through the New York Arts Program (NYAP). In both programs students gain professional work experience through a full-time internship and earn academic credit towards their degree.
While students participating in the NYAP pursue internships in the fine arts, theatre, and media, CHIP students have the opportunity to intern in any industry, including politics, business, healthcare, arts, theatre, and media.
During this Info Session, we will talk about the strengths of both programs, highlighting academics, internships, tuition, and the application processes.
Can’t make this session? No problem. Schedule an advising appointment with the Internship Office, and visit the Study Away webpage here.
