Environmental Studies Guest Speaker Support

In the aim to support the invitation of guest speakers to Southwestern University related to Environmental Studies, the Environmental Studies Program invites Southwestern Departments, Programs, and Organizations to apply for supplemental funding to offset the costs associated with hosting the speaker. Typical awards are $100, but in some cases up to $250 may be approved.  Applications are taken throughout the year and then reviewed by the Environmental Studies Committee. We anticipate typical turn around time to be about two weeks.

Environmental Studies Program Support

The Environmental Studies Program accepts requests for Program Support to Faculty and Students associated with the program to perform activities that advance the program and the development of its members.

Cross Listing with Environmental Studies

The Environmental Studies Program invites faculty to submit courses that have substantial environmental content for cross-listing with the program. Contact Melissa Johnson for cross listing application.
