Southwestern students take the familiar adage “work hard, play hard” to heart. Our academics may be rigorous, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know how to have fun. In fact, we excel at it!
On a typical weekend, SU students have their choice of multiple activities happening around campus and the community. Whether it’s catching an athletic event, attending the popular Friday Night Live series at the Cove, a community service project or a Greek life event, our students are involved and engaged.
To give you a glimpse into one student’s recent Friday night, Keyshaan Castle ’20 , takes us behind the scenes of a blacklight dodgeball tournament, hosted by Zeta Tau Alpha and SIRA.
Keyshaan is majoring in theatre, plays football for the Pirates and is also an RA in the Brown-Cody residence hall. He has a full schedule, but still manages to carve out time for to hang out with friends and blow off steam.
Check out the video for a behind-the-scenes look of student life at SU – and to find out if Keyshaan’s football skills transfer to dodgeball.
