Come learn about study abroad opportunities, funding, and the application process! This is the place to start. All students are required to attend either a Study Abroad 101 session, a Faculty-led Information Session, or individual advising prior to application. This session will be held in Prothro 233. Gilman Scholarship Writing Workshop
Interested in studying or interning abroad, but not sure how you’ll fund it?
- The Gilman Scholarship Program provides awards of up to $5,000 for students receiving Pell Grants or dependents of active military personnel to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs.

Interview with Kamora Millan after a semester in Tokyo, Japan
Kamora Millan, a recent graduate who studied anthropology and sociology, talks about her experience studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. Inspired by her experience, she aims to pursue a future in teaching English and translation, encouraging future students to embrace cultural understanding and maintain an open-minded approach during their own international endeavors.

Transfer student reflects on study/research abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris, France
Zacharia Arifi, a senior, anthropology student, reflects on his semester abroad at the famous Sorbonne in Paris, France. Zacharia was a transfer student and was able to fit in a study abroad and graduate on time. He was also able to conduct field research for his anthropology capstone.
