Steps to Study Abroad

1. Explore programs in the Study Abroad Portal by logging in with your SU credentials
2. Fulfill required study abroad advising before applying; attend one of the following:
   1. Study Abroad 101 Session. See Events Calendar.
   2. SU Faculty-Led Info Session (i.e. SU London Info Session). See Events Calendar.
   3. Virtual Study Abroad 101
   4. Make an appointment with a Study Abroad Peer Mentor:
      1. Abigail Aplin, Office Sunshine & Peer Mentor, HERE
      2. Harrison Mugo, Marketing & Peer Mentor, HERE
3. Attend the Study Abroad Fair in September to explore programs
4. Research cost and funding information
5. Meet with your academic advisor and explore the courses offered and credit approval
6. Apply for a program and scholarships by the deadline
7. Attend pre-departure orientation and set sail, matey!

Application Deadlines

Program and scholarship application deadlines are:

• September 1st — Spring Exchange
• October 1st — J-Term (January 2-week programs), Spring Program Providers
• December 1st — SU Faculty-Led Summer Programs
• February 1st — Summer Program Providers, Fall Exchange
• March 1st — Fall Program Providers, SU London Semester
