Students are required to have study abroad advising prior to application. You may meet with a Peer Advisor or Study Abroad Advisor, attend an Information Session, or complete the Virtual Study Abroad 101 session.

Study abroad advising:

Study Away (CHIP and NYAP) advising:

IMPORTANT: Once you schedule an advising appointment, please login to Via with your Southwestern credentials and complete the short intake questions, at least 24 hours BEFORE your appointment time.
- Throughout the year students may also complete Virtual Study Abroad 101.
- One-On-One advising through video chat is available during school breaks and summer term. Once you have booked your appointment send an email to that advisor requesting a virtual appointment.
