There is a big push for STEM in education, but not as much in the way of inspiring children to follow a career in STEM. Far too often physics is thought of as a subject that is far too hard to understand. We, along with the support of the SU Physics club, will work to create and maintain a mini-curriculum for a small traveling science circus to inspire in elementary-aged children the love of physics. Our project from two years ago proved that there is a demand for physics-related education in the Georgetown area, so we would like to further expand upon those ideas and hopefully upscale our project with a grander idea.
