Southwestern University President Edward Burger will present 5 Elements of Effective Thinking at the eighth annual SXSW EDU Conference & Festival, which returns to Austin March 5-8, 2018.
SXSW EDU attracts educators with a shared goal of impacting the future of teaching and learning. The four-day event offers engaging sessions, workshops, startup events, policy discussions, exhibitions, interactive learning experiences and more with the goal of fostering creativity and innovation in education.
President Burger’s session, 5 Elements of Effective Thinking, perfectly aligns with the conference’s objective of empowering its global community to connect, discover and make an impact. His presentation, based on his 2012 book of the same name, presents practical, lively, and inspiring ways for you to become more successful through better thinking. The idea is simple: You can learn how to think far better by adopting specific strategies. Brilliant people aren’t a special breed–they just use their minds differently. Using the techniques presented by Dr. Burger, you will discover new ways of looking at your world and yourself–revealing previously hidden opportunities.
