  • Friday, August 23 | 1:00 p.m.

Take a tour of All Things Wild Rehabilitation Center (about 10 miles north of the SU campus in eastern Williamson County). SU already has many connections with ATW - including currently 3D printing a new bill for an injured duck. Several students have completed academic internships at ATW. and I’m an active volunteer with them. They are the only wildlife rehabilitation center in the county. Students would go to the center, meet the ambassador animals (including a white pelican, a duck, a skunk, a raccoon, several raptors), and see animals who are currently being rehabilitated (there will likely be some fawns, some squirrels, some other orphans). There will be a brief educational presentation in the ATW Little Red School House to start. And food and drink after.
