The JEDI Center invites you to The More You Know About Racism Panel on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30 PM in the McCombs Ballroom.

This annual panel discussion is about the discrimination and racism experiences among our students of color, both on and off campus.

The audience will include students, staff, and faculty members of the Southwestern community. FREE FOOD!!!!

The student organization with the most attendees will receive a pizza party for their organization!

Join the Pirates for Pride student organization in welcoming Angel Carroll, Williamson County (District 52) Texas State House of Representative candidate for the 2024 election, to SU’s campus! Angel is eager to meet with the SU community this Wednesday evening in the McCombs Ballrooms at 7pm.
The P4P will be providing food and drinks for this event.

Hispanic and Latine Panel

In celebration of National Hispanic & Latine Heritage Month, the JEDI Center hosts a panel that will feature prominent thoughts of leaders, successful business people, and talented professionals from the Hispanic and Latine communities.

Panelists will share their journey to their respective positions and reflect on the personal and professional experiences that have shaped their careers. You will gain insight into how their identities and communities have influenced their paths. Panelists will also share barriers overcome and advice based on experiences.
