The Student DIBE Committee leads efforts to ensure that students from various backgrounds are successful and thrive at the university and that diversity and equity work are recognized and valued by the university. The committee holds regular listening sessions with students to foster a sense of community, collect their concerns, amplify their voices, and develop plans of action based on their needs and suggestions.

Five students and three staff members serve on the committee, which meets at least once a month. The student committee reports to Student Life.
