Good to Know

The SU Wellness Program platform is an app-based program provided through Navigate. This is an enhancement to our current benefits package.

This program is HIPAA-compliant. Any protected health information entered into the program is strictly confidential. Participation tracking is done with your SU Employee ID, and only the platform admins (Peggy Freitas and Gretel Galo) and the Navigate account manager (Shannon Pratt) have access to your points to award entry into the prize drawings.

This is a voluntary program with several components. You sign up in the Navigate platform to participate in challenges (personal, campus-wide, or departmental) covering a variety of wellness issues: physical, nutrition, financial and mindfulness, nutrition, purpose, social, and community. You elect which programs to participate in, and each challenge will earn points.

There are two “periods” each semester. Completing the minimum number of points each period gives you one entry into a prize drawing.

When you reach the minimum points each period, you are entered into a drawing. If you win, you will choose from a variety of prizes at different price points: $75, $40, and $20. You need 100 points to earn an entry during the first period (7/1 – 9/30), and each additional 50 points earn an extra entry. The 2nd period (10/1 – 12/31) has a 200-point entry minimum (points roll over from the previous period), and again each additional 50 points earns an extra entry. Drawing winners will be able to choose from prizes such as yoga equipment, smoothie blenders, food scales, power banks, and SU Wellness-branded items such as water bottles, BBQ aprons, and much more.

An easy way to earn 50 points is to sign up for one of the no-cost on-campus health screenings  through Catapult at  http://www.TimeConfirm.com/SU. Upcoming clinics will be held in August and September. This program is also voluntary and HIPAA-compliant. The results of your screening will be reviewed with you (via telephone or video chat) with a Catapult nurse and can be sent to your Primary Care Provider.
