Alumni Resources

Whether through communications or opportunities for engagement, Southwestern is committed to maintaining a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice that recognizes and embraces all alumni's identities, experiences, and backgrounds.

Inclusion and Diversity Chair
The Alumni Council the leadership board for the Southwestern University Alumni Association consists of no more than 14 positions. The Alumni Association affirms its commitment to Southwestern’s Core Values, among them fostering diverse perspectives, respecting the worth and dignity of persons, and encouraging activism in the pursuit of justice and the common good. In engaging in its mission of promoting the welfare of the University, the Association recognizes the importance of inclusion and diversity in fostering a stronger Southwestern community.

Alumni Connection Groups
There are several groups for alumni within underrepresented communities. The Alumni Association recognizes that many alumni formed their most valued Southwestern relationships through student organizations, residence halls, academic departments, social groups, or share interests.

Pirate Connect
Within PirateConnect, Southwestern’s online networking platform, there are several networking groups for alumni and students to affiliate themselves with. When visiting the platform, please click on “Career Communities” to see the full listing.
