The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship facilitates a variety of ways that faculty can engage and develop as teacher-scholars.

• New faculty orientations and programs
• Mentoring and peer faculty development through the Faculty Support Network
• Guides and resources

The Office also connects Southwestern faculty to programs available to them through the following organizations:

• The Associated Colleges of the South, including its Summer Teaching Workshop and the Faculty Advancement Grants program.
• The Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church, including its teaching awards program and its Sam Taylor Fellowships for faculty scholarship.
