Union merchant Please join us for the October First Thursday on Thursday, October 1 from 4:00–5:30 p.m. at our new off-campus location, Union Merchant, just off the Georgetown Square (224 E 8th St, Georgetown, TX 78626). First Thursdays are a series of receptions that recognize and celebrate research and professional achievements by colleagues across the campus. They are generally held the first Thursday of each month during the academic year. Limited wine and light snacks will be provided. Additional food and beverage can be purchased. This month’s reception will celebrate five of our Southwestern colleagues - Jess Hower (History), Ed Merritt (Kinesiology), Hieu Nguyen (Economics), Desi Roybal (Theatre), and Maha Zewail-Foote (Chemistry & Biochemistry). Presentations will start at 4:30 and conclude by 5:00PM. |
