Academic Mall Banner Procedures

The Academic Mall Banner, located outside the McCombs Campus Center, offers high visibility and is a great way to promote events to students, faculty, and staff. Two banner spaces are available at a time, and reservations are required.


Reservation Guidelines
  • Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your event date to allow time for review, approval, and installation.
  • Space is limited, and reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Priority may be given to Southwestern priority events.

Already Have a Banner?

If you already have a printed banner and simply need to reserve space:

  1. Complete the Academic Mall Banner Reservation Form.
  2. Once approved, submit a work order through Asset Essentials to have your banner installed.

Need a Banner Designed?

If you need a new banner created for your event:

  1. Submit a design request through our MarCom Intake Form at least four weeks in advance of your desired installation date.
  2. Once your design request is confirmed, complete the Academic Mall Banner Reservation Form.
  3. Submit a work order through Asset Essentials for installation once your reservation is approved.
