About Vera:

I am passionate about music and I spend a lot of time going to concerts and events, or singing and playing with friends and family. If I’m not at the piano bench or playing my guitar, you’ll probably find me outside in nature, ensconced on the couch with a good book, or off on my latest travel adventure.

Wolf Ranch Shopping Area

• CAVA - healthy food that is delicious and doesn’t break the bank? Yes, please! Try the fresh Blueberry Lavender drink, it’s delightful.
• Michaels - as an avid crafter, I have to say that this Michael’s location has everything you need for your next creative endeavor.

Georgetown Square

• Find the Murals! - there are several beautiful painted murals in downtown, great photo opps and fun to see the variety of art
• Spellcaster Ghost Tours - these after dark tours are a great insight into some of Georgetown’s history, and the walking tour takes you by some of the oldest buildings in Georgetown

Local Georgetown Recommendations

• Booty’s Road Park - in my opinion, one of the best places to get outside near Georgetown! A beautiful city park with great hiking trails.
• Sweet Eats Farm - this family-run farm is less than 20 minutes from Southwestern, and has seasonal events where you can come and pick fresh produce and even flowers in the spring! It’s one of my favorite places to visit for an afternoon of fun.
