Being in Georgetown gives you the opportunity to be near Austin while still having a small town feel. Plus, the students here are genuinely collaborative rather than competitive. My favorite restaurants in Georgetown are Golden Rule and District 6.

What is your favorite thing to do in Georgetown, and why?
I love to walk my dogs around the Historic District and look at all the old houses. You notice something new every day!

Sour Duck Market is awesome. The Happy hour burger is the best in town and it’s affordable!
