Glover O. L. Johnson III ’89
Glover Johnson is founder and CEO of Indigo Sun Consulting LLC, specializing in coaching 3rd line to C-suite leaders on maximizing their team’s impact through effective leadership strategies. He works closely with clients to design and implement tailored solutions to enhance organizational performance and drive success in the competitive life science industry.
Mr. Johnson was formerly Vice President for US Sales for Lundbeck LLC, a global pharmaceutical company specializing in the development of innovative treatments for brain diseases. Previously he served as Lundbeck’s Senior National Sales Director, Psychiatry, and as a member of the Senior Commercial Leadership Team. Prior to joining Lundbeck in 2015, Mr. Johnson held managerial positions with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Parke-Davis.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, by which he has been certified as an HR generalist in labor relations, diversity, and inclusion. He is a member of the board of directors of the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization, a life sciences industry association that represents nearly 88,000 life sciences employees at member companies, universities, service providers, and venture firms. He is an elected official in the state of Illinois on the Community College Board of Trustees (Triton College).
Tres graduated in 1989 from Southwestern in biology, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He earned an MBA degree, with honors in finance, from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
