K. Elizabeth Yeager
Elizabeth Yeager is a community leader with a particular interest in education and the arts. She currently serves as president of the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra and the Perkins-Prothro Foundation. Her prior service includes eight years as a trustee for the Wichita Falls Independent School District, founding director of the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, and a member of the founding council of the Midwestern State University Lifelong Learning Center.
Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude with a degree in mathematical physics from Sweet Briar College in 1984, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986. Prior to her election as a Southwestern trustee, Elizabeth served on Southwestern’s Board of Visitors and the Parent Leadership Gift Council.
