The FAO Schwarz Fellowships are highly selective two-year paid positions at successful nonprofits designed to develop the skills and abilities of future social impact leaders. Through a combination of direct service, strategic projects and professional development, the program supports the growth of recent college graduates seeking careers in social change. More than 30 different nonprofits in three cities have participated in this program. There have been 65 FAO Schwarz Fellows since 2006. More than 60 percent have gone on to graduate programs, 38 percent have been hired by their host organizations, and 97 percent continue to work in the social impact sector.
