Welcome to Session 1 of SIRA’s Spring 2024 Fitness Classes.
Spring Session I runs  January 22nd - March 8th (7 weeks).

 

The SU fee for Southwestern students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni and their spouses or partners is $20 for 1 day/week.  The fee for the general public is $40 for 1 day/week.

SIRA’s Fitness offers these classes in the CJR Aerobics Room:

Zumba Workout - Thursdays at 5:30pm -
 The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

No prior Zumba® experience is necessary. Comfortable tennis/fitness shoes are recommended.

Yoga - Wednesdays at 12:00pm

Nurture and energize the entire self through the fusion of dynamic poses, breath work and deep relaxation with Hatha Slow Flow Yoga. The practice of yoga encourages strength, flexibility, balance, self-awareness and tranquility. Participants of all levels are welcome to attend. Feel free to bring your own mat or use a mat provided by SIRA
