The gravity propelled sled includes manual brakes so you can control your speed as you bob and weave for nearly one mile down the hill. We will finish up our day in the charming town of Wimberley for Texas Hill Country’s largest outdoor market.

Over the course of three days, we’ll explore stunning ancient pictographs, trek along the majestic Pecos River, and experience the rugged beauty of the Lower Pecos Canyonlands.

If you are new to fishing or have been fishing for years, we invite you to join Outdoor Adventure for a fun and relaxing day at one of Georgetown’s best fishing spots. We will have plenty of time to hike, fish, and explore to your heart’s content.

Whether you’re a new or experienced climber, join us at the crag for a fun and adventurous day at one of the best and most beautiful climbing spots in Texas. Our outdoor adventure staff will teach you the ins and outs of rock climbing and belaying techniques on the limestone cliffs of Reimers Ranch.

Join Outdoor Adventure and many of the areas most experienced astronomers as we learn and observe about the night sky! We will start out the night with hot chocolate and smores at the Howry Outdoor Adventure Center, then learn all about the constellations and planets using various telescopes.

Ever wanted to become an expert camper? Well now you can learn! Join Outdoor Adventure for a camping trip right behind our own SU Campus! You and your fellow students will get the chance to learn all you need to know about camping from our amazing OA Staff! We will have an optional night hike to explore the trails along Smith Creek and the San Gabriel river.
