NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF COLLEGIATE CAMPUS CLIMATES (NACCC)

The NACCC Staff Survey is designed to provide university leadership with detailed information about the ways in which university staff experience the campus climate. Southwestern University participated as a member of LACRELA. Student survey results are on the “Student Surveys & Reports” page.

HIGHER EDUCATION DATA SHARING (HEDS) SENSE OF COMMUNITY SURVEY

The HEDS Sense of Community Survey asks everyone—students, faculty, staff, and administrators—about the extent to which they feel a sense of community at Southwestern and what experiences promote or diminish their sense of community. The analysis demonstrates that a person’s role (e.g., student, faculty, staff, administrator) is an important factor shaping how they experience community at Southwestern. The survey is anonymous to encourage people to openly share information about their experiences and perspectives.

HIGHER EDUCATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE (HERI) FACULTY SURVEY

The HERI Faculty Survey is designed to provide institutions with actionable information on important and timely issues. It includes topics such as pedagogical practices, faculty goals and expectations for students, research and service activities, sources of stress and satisfaction, and the connection between learning in the classroom and practices in the local and global community.

MEASURING INFORMATION SERVICE OUTCOMES (MISO)

The MISO Survey is a web-based quantitative survey designed to measure how faculty, students, and staff view library and computing services in higher education.
