The Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) plays a central role in that journey through the Pirate Plan — Southwestern’s intentional four-year roadmap that connects academics, student life, experiential learning, and professional preparation into one cohesive experience.
Through the Pirate Plan, students are paired with Success Coaches within CCPD who provide personalized guidance, support, and resources throughout each stage of the Southwestern Experience. From career exploration and internships to leadership opportunities and discovering your strengths, your Success Coach, in partnership with others across campus, helps you intentionally build the skills and experiences needed for post-graduate success.
