Who Can Apply for Upward Bound?
Based on federal guidelines, an eligible student must meet all of the following:
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident,
- Be a student at East View, Georgetown, or Jarrell High School
- Be a potential first-generation college student (which means neither of the parents you live with has a four-year college degree)
- Meet income requirements
- Have academic need
- Have the desire to succeed in high school and go on to college
