Financial Aid

Apply for Financial Aid

Southwestern University requires students to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for all forms of need-based financial aid.

The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and institutional need based aid. Students must submit a FAFSA each year they wish to be considered for need-based financial aid. An academic year for financial aid is Fall, Spring and Summer. For the 2025-2026 year, the FAFSA is available on December 1st, 2024.
