The FAFSA Simplification Act means big changes are coming to the application for the 2024-25 academic year.
FAFSA General Information
The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and institutional need based aid. Students must submit a FAFSA each year they wish to be considered for need-based financial aid. An academic year for financial aid is Fall, Spring and Summer. For the 2024-2025 year, the FAFSA is scheduled to be available in December 2023.

First Year Early Decision Applicants (Early Decision Financial Aid Form): | November 20 |
First Year Early Action and Regular Decision Applicants: | March 1 |
First Year Late Decision Applicants: | ASAP after March 1 |
Transfer Applicants - Fall: | July 1 |
Transfer Applicants - Spring: | November 15 |
Current and Readmitted SU Students - Priority Deadline: | March 1 |
