About Me: I’m a first generation college graduate. During my college experience, I studied English literature for both my degrees, was a member of Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed service fraternity), and the editor of the peer published Oasis magazine for multiple years. As a student, I had a variety of campus jobs. I worked as Student Assistant in the Acquisitions department in the Library, a Peer Mentor with the Freshman College, a Student Assistant in the Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Center, a Writing Tutor in the Writing Center, a Clerk in the university bookstore, and taught English 1301 and English 1301 Developmental courses. I have a passion for helping people succeed in a way that works best for them. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and spending time with my family and close friends!
