Southwestern University supports first-generation* students through a variety of programs and events.
Captain’s Academy is a donation funded program that supports first-year students. Alpha Alpha Alpha is a national honor society that promotes academic excellence and provides opportunities for personal growth. First-Generation College Celebration (FGCC) Week is an annual series of events in November across campus for all students, staff, faculty, and community members.
