Gifts to the Southwestern Annual Fund are completely unrestricted and are used to address emerging priorities or unexpected expenses. These are important to the University since they strengthen our ability to operate with a balanced budget while addressing unforeseen financial challenges.

Gifts to current restricted gift funds support academic, athletic, fine arts, student scholarships, and other co-curricular programs. These gifts enhance our ability to offer students an exceptional educational experience.

For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, our goal is for 20% of alumni graduates to make a gift of any size to Southwestern. Alumni support demonstrates your dedication, appreciation, and seal of approval for the education you received at your alma mater. As of December 31, 2024, 9.07% of alumni graduates already made a gift this fiscal year.
