In January, a group of 12 Southwestern students led by Assistant Director for Outdoor Adventure Branndon Bargo embarked on an awe-inspiring journey to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. In addition to conquering the mountain, these students immersed themselves in the vibrant local culture of Tanzania. They engaged with a Massai community, learned about local traditions, and forged meaningful connections that transcend borders. Your support fuels these transformative experiences, shaping future global leaders who understand the power of an interdisciplinary education.
