Eric Salinas ’25, also known as Your Ex Stacy, performs in drag and exemplifies the transformative power of individuals who use their voices to advocate for their beliefs. Salinas pays homage to the enduring role of drag in queer movements worldwide. Through this project, the audience is encouraged to contemplate the importance of fighting for queer rights and find inspiration in the power of protest expressed through music and art.

The King Creativity program was endowed by Southwestern alumnus Joey King ’93 in 2000, and it has supported students’ creative works since then.
