Gather with us (in the Library? where is it happening?) on November 4, 2:00-5:00pm, as we host a public celebration the 30th Anniversary of the John Tower Papers and Reading Room. Presentations will explore Senator Tower’s legacy and illustrate the undergraduate research opportunities made possible by the University’s Special Collections.

2:00 p.m.: Welcome
2:30 p.m.: “Legacy of John Tower on Texas Politics” by Mr. Wayne J. Thorburn, author of “The Republican Party of Texas”
3:15 p.m.: Panel Discussion on Student Research- by Dr. Joseph Hower, Assistant Professor of History
4:00 p.m.: Reception
