Join us as we show Georgetown that Southwestern cares!
On Saturday, September 12, Southwestern University will partner with Georgetown’s 9/11 Service Day to give back to the community through a variety of local service projects. This Pirate Adventure is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
Find a Serve Project
- Habitat for Humanity: Transportation from Southwestern is available for 28 students serving at the Habitat for Humanity project. Space is limited, so register through Lounge to reserve your spot.
- Other Serve Projects: Faculty, staff, and students who would like to participate in any of the other Georgetown 9/11 Serve Day service projects should register through SignUpGenius.
Event Schedule
- 8:00 a.m.: Meet at McCombs Campus Center
- 8:30 a.m.: Serve Day Huddle at Christ Lutheran Church
- 9:00–11:00 a.m.: Serve Projects
- 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Food, games, and live music at Christ Lutheran Church
