One of Southwestern’s most exhilarating traditions, the Research and Creative Works Symposium (RCWS), invites students to step into the spotlight and share the work that inspires them. Since its start in 1999, RCWS has highlighted the depth of undergraduate research, innovation, and creativity on campus. The daylong, campus-wide celebration brings together posters, talks, performances, exhibitions, and panels—revealing the diverse intellectual curiosity and imagination that define a liberal arts education.
Students are invited to submit proposals in the following categories:
- Poster Presentations
- Oral Presentations
- Creative Works Exhibitions
- Creative and Scientific Process Exhibitions
- Performances
- Panels
