Southwestern University is proud to host the 2026 Annual Conference of The Association for the Study of Play (TASP)—the premier international academic organization dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of play. This event brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the world to explore the many dimensions of play across cultures, disciplines, and age groups.
This year’s theme, Play Forward–Imagining Futures Through Play, invites us to think about how play can shape what’s next. The conference will feature:
