Gwen and Ben Sherman are hosting this year’s event at their home in Renton, Washington, on Saturday, August 9, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. There is plenty of on-street parking, and their house is only 12 minutes away from the Tukwila Train Station and the Tukwila Rail Station. That would make it convenient for Oregon alums and others who want to leave their car at home, as the Shermans are happy to provide shuttle service between their home and the stations.

The entire family is welcome, including kids and your significant other or guest(s). The chapter will provide BBQ and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as burger and hot dog options. Please bring a side dish to share and your own alcoholic beverage, if desired. It’s likely to be warm in August, so guests may eat indoors (air conditioned) or on the comfortable back deck. Yard games will be available, including corn hole, bocce ball, and croquet.

When registering to attend, be sure to include the names of everyone in your party and any items or side(s) you plan to bring. To those who register, an email will go out closer to the date with the address and more details about the event.
