This special tribute and retrospective exhibit will honor Star Varner’s profound influence on our community and the creative world. Together, we will reflect on her inspiring contributions and the indelible mark she leaves behind.

Event Update:
Please be advised that University Avenue (Highway 29) in Georgetown is shut down between Scenic Drive and Church Street due to a gas leak. The roadway is expected to remain closed through this evening. Georgetown Police and Fire officials have asked the public to avoid the area.
Those attending this afternoon’s event are strongly encouraged to alter their travel plans to arrive at Southwestern University via State Highway 130 instead of Interstate 35. From State Highway 130, take exit 415 for Georgetown. Follow University Avenue/Highway 29 west into Georgetown, approximately 2.2 miles, and campus will be on the right. Please plan ahead for potential delays caused by increased traffic in the area.
