Participating in SGA is a wonderful way to make a positive difference on campus life while developing transferable skills such as leadership and communication. Running for office gives students the opportunity to develop their own personal brand and learn to utilize personal and community networks. Once elected, SGA members enjoy the privilege of taking active decision making roles and can influence university policies and events that directly affect the student body.
