Events may be fun, educational, or recreational. Spots in these programs are generally offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subsidized to reduce the cost to each student. Past events have included comedians, sporting events, museum trips, festivals, a bat cruise, and disc golf.

In addition to these excursions, Outdoor Adventure has many trips throughout the year and during Welcome Week time is dedicated to similar events.
