Residence Halls

Jessie Daniel Ames Hall

Jessie Daniel Ames Hall is a coed residence hall located adjacent to the new Dorothy Perry White Welcome Center, where residents will have convenient access to a new cafe, art gallery, theatre, and outdoor terrace. First-year residents are housed in two-person rooms with suite-style bathrooms.

Named for Jessie Daniel Ames, a 1902 Southwestern University graduate and nationally prominent civil rights activist, the hall features a first-floor fitness center and yoga/Pilates studio, expansive lounge and collaborative spaces on the second and third floors, and study nooks throughout the building.
