Make an Impact With Your Annual Gift
Make an annual gift of any size to further the University’s goals and support distinctive educational experiences for all Southwestern students. Your annual gifts allow for quick responses to changing and unanticipated needs. You can decide to make a gift to the Southwestern Fund, which supports all University priorities, or you can designate your gift to an area or initiative of your choosing.
The Southwestern Fund supports everything that makes Southwestern great and allows the University to respond to changing priorities. Gifts to the Southwestern Fund go to work immediately and can be designated to the Southwestern Fund for Scholarships.
I would like to say that I am incredibly thankful for this scholarship, and I hope that I exemplify what it means to be a Brown Scholar. A quote that really helped me during this period that I would like to share with you comes from one of my favorite authors Albert Camus: ‘No matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger—something better, pushing right back.’”
Annual gifts may be designated to support academic programs/departments, co-curricular initiatives, or any other aspect of Southwestern. Please contact us if you have questions about specific opportunities.
The Parent Leadership Council offers parents of current students the opportunity for meaningful engagement with University leadership, faculty and staff, and fellow parents, during their student's time on campus and beyond. Members commit to an annual gift of $2,500 or more to support any campus program or initiative that enhances the educational and co-curricular experience for our students. Learn more about the PLC.
Collegiate athletics is an important part of the Southwestern Experience for roughly half of our 1,500 students. We have 20 NCAA DIII Teams, across 12 different sports. Donations to the Pirate Fund can be directed to a specific athletic team, strength and conditioning, athletic trainers, or to athletics in general.
