What Is the Care Team?
The Care Team is a group of faculty and staff who collaborate to support students facing personal, academic, or emotional challenges. Our goal is to promote student well-being and success through early outreach, coordinated care, and connection to resources.
When someone notices that a student may be struggling—academically, socially, or personally—the Care Team helps ensure that student receives timely, compassionate support. The process is proactive and caring, never punitive.
Purpose of the Care Team
- Connect students with resources on and off campus.
- Provide coordinated support for students facing challenges.
- Promote well-being, safety, and academic success.
- Encourage early outreach to prevent crises.
Who the Care Team Supports
The Care Team provides help for students who may be:
- Struggling academically or socially
- Managing mental-health or wellness concerns
- Experiencing illness, loss, or crisis
- Dealing with family, financial, or personal stress
How to Share a Concern or Get Help
Faculty, staff, and students, if you’re worried about a student—or you’re a student who could use some support—use Navigate360 to share your concern with the Care Team.
Confidentiality and Care
Referrals are handled with discretion and care. Details are shared only with those who need to know in order to provide appropriate support. The goal is to help students succeed and stay safe while maintaining respect for privacy.
