Every year, the faculty select student art works for exhibition in the annual Student Art Exhibition and place work regularly for public viewing in the Alma Thomas Courtyard Gallery.  Students may also curate their own exhibits.

The artworks below are from the 2019-20 academic year, some of which were produced during the remote portion of the spring semester brought on by COVID-19, representing a triumph of dedication and the spirit of investigation regardless of quarantine conditions. 

Art students are encouraged to enter juried competitions that are available to undergraduates, and some of the Southwestern students have competed successfully in national juried exhibitions.
