Mission Statement
The Office of Advising and Retention provides leadership to the academic advising system and works collaboratively across campus to evaluate current and implement new retention programs/strategies. Our office develops and offers training and professional development opportunities to our dedicated academic advisors. Additionally, we initiate outreach to students to help them continue their academic path at SU. We strive to ensure successful degree completion through effective academic advising and proactive student engagement with the SU community.
