Justin Broussard
Justin Broussard believes deeply in the pursuit of betterment. For him, that means focusing on self-growth, running your own race, and constantly challenging yourself to evolve. A proud Southwestern University alumnus, Justin graduated in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology.
While at Southwestern, Justin fully embraced the student experience. He found community, academic challenge, and personal development, and he became the first All-American football player in Southwestern’s modern era. Through a commitment to balance, discipline, and service, he built a foundation that helped shape his approach to life and career.
Following graduation, Justin began his career as a technology recruiter. Today, he works in the tech industry as a top strategic talent advisor, with past roles at industry-leading companies VMware and Broadcom. He currently works at Omnissa in talent acquisition and workforce strategy and planning. Alongside his corporate career, Justin has built a real estate portfolio company focused on sustainable housing and long-term community impact. His company partners with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Spindletop Center, which supports mental health and substance recovery services in Southeast Texas.
Over the years, Justin has returned to speak with Southwestern students and share insights from his journey. This appearance marks a meaningful milestone, as he joins SOAR as keynote speaker for the first time.
