Moss , Georgetown, TX, returned to Southwestern University as chief marketing and communications officer and vice president Linda Wilson , Edgartown, MA, retired in 1992 to her summer home on Martha’s Vineyard. She currently serves as a trustee for the Oak Bluffs Public Library and as an elected cemetery commissioner for her town. She is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Martha’s Vineyard. Bill Fling , El Paso, TX, was a confirmed bachelor until he was married at almost 65. At 68, he and his wife adopted six children. He is now an active dad attending PTA meetings and pee-wee football games and loving every minute of it. Karen Stetler , Fort Worth,TX, retired in 2013 and returned to Fort Worth. Debora Jones Acevedo , Georgetown, TX, retired from Round Rock ISD in 2019, after 37 years of service as a middle school language-arts teacher and as an instructional- technology specialist. Cynthia Edge , Dripping Springs, TX, retired from Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) after 31 years working for the State of Texas as a creative media designer. Her legacy includes countless designs and publications, including for integrated communications. Moss brings 30 years of experience to the University, including her work with global brands, in political campaigns, and at public-relations agencies. Beth Powell Morrison , Georgetown, TX, is now in her 32nd year of band directing at Thrall ISD. On November 6, 2018, the Thrall Tiger Band performed at the 2A UIL State Marching Band Contest. They finished in 13th place. Elizabeth Schlatter , Richmond, VA, was elected president of the College Art Association board of directors. She will begin serving a two-year term beginning May 1, 2020. Miguel Zorrilla , Austin, TX, traveled to Mexico City with President Edward Burger to recruit prospective students and met with Jorge Diaz Cuervo ’90 and Ana Mallen ’95 . See photo below. Cassandra Parker-Nowicki , San Antonio, TX, was appointed executive director of the Carver Community Cultural Center in July 2019. Lee Ann Wheelis Lockridge , Baton Rouge, LA, was recently named interim dean of the Paul M.
