2019 Joshua Hicks , Cypress, TX, is working as a geotechnical assistant staff project manager for ECS Southwest, LLP. Conner Joyce , Austin, TX, published an article titled “A Path-Dependent Explanation of Divergent Nuclear Trajectories” in the spring 2020 issue of The Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics . The article is based on Joyce’s honors thesis in political science and examines why some countries attempt to acquire nuclear weapons and others do not. Joyce is currently enrolled in a master’s program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas of Austin. T.J. Vela , Austin, TX, began working for the tech company Sprinklr in January 2020. He was promoted in June to sales development representative. Armando Vidana , Dallas, TX, is working for Charles Schwab as a corporate paralegal. Vidana is enjoying his time so far and has learned much since he began. He has learned about finance law through talking to clients and internal members at Schwab. He is inspired by his interactions at work to put forth his full effort. Jared Wiggins , Crosby, TX, is working for the U.S. House of Representatives as a full-time staffer for Representative Brian Babin. 2019 Ellie Crowley , San Antonio, TX, started Colorado State University’s master of arts in leadership and cultural management program in fall 2020. MARRIAGE: Abigail Earle to Christopher Downs on December 21, 2019, in her hometown of Jacksonville, TX. 2018 Maranda Kahl Joyce , Austin, TX, joined E3 Alliance, a nonprofit research organization, after completing her master of public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2020. At E3, Joyce provides research, data analysis, and datamanipulation in support of E3'smission to transform education systems through data and collaboration so all students succeed. Emma Walsh Rogers , see Tanner Rogers ’17 . Shine Trabucco , Floresville, TX, graduated in December 2019 from St. Mary’s University with a master of arts in public history. She is currently a history doctoral student at the University of Houston. 2020 Brandon Berry , Houston, TX, currently serves as a trade policy analyst for Haugen Consulting, a maritime firm that helps international and domestic corporations navigate shipping- related issues. He works as a researcher on domestic and foreign trade policies and how they impact the way business is conducted in Houston. Abigail Luna , Pflugerville, TX, began her teaching career in fall 2020 as a kindergarten teacher at Timmerman Elementary School. Luke Orren , Nashville, TN, began working as a sales associate for Aetna in fall 2020. Sebastian Somolinos , Boston, MA, is a graduate student and researcher at Harvard University. Jordan Smith , Waco, TX, began pursuing a doctoral degree in mathematics at Baylor University in fall 2020. Emily Knox , Austin, TX, found the job of her dreams and is now working for the tech company Logic Monitor. It was a big transition, but she couldn’t be happier. Lacye Lawhon , Montgomery, TX, is a library assistant working toward becoming a librarian at Montgomery County Memorial Library System. Emma Quadlander , Auburn, AL, received her master of science in counseling and psychology from Troy University. She is currently working toward her doctorate in counselor education at Auburn University.
